i-Balans is web-based and has a clear manual that is made to be easy to use, without unnecessary functions and complicated menus.
i-Balans has a simple user design for ease of use and requires minimal staff training.
The result is presented as the unit's need for basic staffing and can be used directly as a basis for staff scheduling.
The results are presented in annual position required.
BUILT ACCORDING TO INTERNATIONAL STANDARD
Created according to ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health).
The development of the method started 2007. In 2008 the method started to be used by care-centers in Sweden. Over the years several checks on reliability, efficiency and accuracy have been conducted.
i-Balans has been used in parallel with other support needs measurement instruments, with reliability and accuracy checked using timed measurement.
In order to optimize inter-reliability in the measurement, manuals have been developed to facilitate the level assessments.
